Project Thesis

A conceptual feasibility study for a local residential extension, focused on testing variations in layout and roof form to balance spatial feel, function, and budget.

A severely restricted vertical envelope. The design had to squeeze functional ceiling heights between the mandatory flood level at the base and the existing roofline above. Generated four distinct design options utilizing rapid 3D tours and renders. This allowed for clear, comprehensible testing of various box-gutter roof solutions, indoor/outdoor lounge flows, and internal reconfigurations to identify the most cost-effective and spatially successful outcome.
